Nor have I. At least that I can remember. But, given the clues he has given about his background, that is what it has to be.

Remember, he came from the business side. His reference to RSTS/E confirms that. He was probably a whiz at DIBOL and FOCAL.

Note, I know nothing about these. Nor do I know what DEC's CIS was. Along with COBOL. Or RPG, other than role playing game. Honest. And, I have never adjusted the levers on a KSR/ASR teletype. Too scared to open one...

Ask someone who specializes in those technologies. I was just a programmer. Outside of my job description.

That is my story and I am sticking with it.

Those who worked around it routinely referred to it ALC. Not sure where you were.
