JQP should realize that these markets are not intended or designed to be user friendly, that most people lose their money when they invest, and that even so called professional portfolio managers blow out the portfolios they manage, so what chance has JQP have to benefit from speculating? I really don't mean to sound harsh, but this is a cold hard fact of these markets, JQP should either not invest or he should be willing to accept whatever the market offers him when he sits down and puts his money on the table, he needs to learn how to sell as well as buy, fold as well as hold, and he needs to realize the market moves in more than one direction...

As Kenny Rogers once sang:

Know when to hold them,
Know when to fold them,
Know when to walk away,
Know when to run.

Never count your money
While you're sittin' at the table,
There's time enough for counting
When the dealin's done.
