Kenneth isn't a successful lawyer like those but he is a lying type.

The last time I was called for jury duty there was another demanding project requiring my time. The case was medical malpractice..the man suing the MD had fractured a tiny bone in his wrist at work and accused the MD of applying a medical procedure that rendered him incapable of earning a living. The lawyer for the man suing the doctor was "Guido"..reminded me of lawyers in all those ambulance chaser ads on TV--wearing slicked down hair, a suit with pinstripes a foot wide and a cocky attitude.

Naturally my number was chosen for the next stage of the trial. We were told we would need to study dozens of xrays of the tiny bone fracture...all I could think of was all the work waiting at home with a deadline. The woman next to me was thrilled to be chosen and they had an excess of jurors that day, so raised my hand when we were asked if anyone had reason not to serve on the jury. Guido called on me asking the reason..replied: "I believe there should be a cap on jury awards"...he immediately grabbed my profile card and asked if I was an MD's wife. Replied "No"..restated my authentic belief that there should be a cap on awards. Guido dropped me from his list of prospective jurors quicker than Obama threw his grdmother under the bus. Needless to say, he convinced me more than ever that there should be restrictions on trivial law suits.

>The trials I've observed as jurors, I believe many of the lawyers were lying to us.<
