That is certainly the kind of folks my people were when they came to this state in the 1880s. Leave us alone and let us run our lives without your damned interference. We've never been opposed to taxes............or should I say fair taxes. I know that because my Fathers fought to eliminate unfair taxes way back when. Then the Socialists discovered our treasures, including that wonderful water, and they married our daughters. Look what happened to Oregon during the great Hippy Revolution. I don't know about you, but I get a bad feeling if I stay longer than a few days. And forget moving there..............you'll never fit in, and eventually commit suicide or leave to free yourself from the glaring stares, lack of good environment, since they've locked up the best lands, and the general harassment to conform or be eternally ostracized. I hate to say it, but I feel the same way about Canada. Other than my Revolutionary War Fathers, 1st WW Fathers, WW2 Fathers, and Korean War Fathers, I really don't know why I'm a Conservative? I'm happy to say I didn't get any socialist genes from Grandfather Wobbly. -gg-
