Seems unlikely that with anti-illegal immigration backlash the Latino population trend will continue unmodulated.

I find the decrease in Hispanics on the street around here remarkable. Far fewer Hispanics working in the neighborhood on construction and landscaping, almost zero Hispanic day laborers at traditional day laborer venues, many Latino small businesses going belly up.

Sighted yesterday, a former Latino grocery store re-opening soon as a kabob restaurant.
