I had a big surge over the past year or so of Hispanic immigrant construction workers and landscapers losing their jobs and their houses, not just because the work wasn't there but also because local counties started cracking down on multiple families in housing zoned for single families. The tenants moved to places less restrictive to immigrants, the males in the family moved to places where they didn't have to show a green card to work.

A lot of them said they were moving to Texas. No doubt there are other places in the country that don't still don't ask for green cards nor check Social Security numbers in the national database.
