ManTech International Corp. has won two five-year federal contracts worth a combined $275 million.

Under a $151 million contract, the Fairfax-based contractor will provide information technology support to the Naval Sea Systems Command.

Support will include the development of formal processes in life cycle planning, documentation, program management, program control, testing, training and deployment. The Navy will employ common system standards, processes and development methodology, along with shared resources and infrastructure, to improve function and reduce costs.

The work will be performed by Lexington Park-based ManTech Systems Engineering Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of ManTech. Work will be performed primarily at the Norfolk, Va. region.

Under the $124 million contract from the Department of State, ManTech (NASDAQ:MANT) will help manage the worldwide modernization of the department's computer networks.

When the equipment is ready for shipment, ManTech's installation team will travel to each State Department location to complete the modernizations.
