You are comparing the war fare of WWII to Iraq? A friends son is doing his second tour of duty and tells me most of his time is spent rebuilding the country. The warfare issue is small.

My father told me about what it was like during WWII and of course we have all seen the old documentaries of the war and this is not a reasonable apples to apples comparison. But it does sound nice...

And at least in WWII the kids had a rear line ot rest in. No rear line in iraq. We need to be fair to our toops.

Bill Clinton cut the military from 20 divisions to 10. Democrat presidents always tend to cut the size of the military and it's funding. Clinton also cut intelligence services by 35%. There's the root of the problem--Pres Bush has been restoring the strength of the US military to the pre-Clinton days. Obama would follow the Democrat tradition of diverting large chunks of military funding into ineffective, wasteful government social programs.

This is so hackneyed.

"Bush went into Iraq not knowing the difference between sunnie and shia."

In all honesty, did you know the difference between sunnie and shia?

Another example of foreign names----

When Barrack Hussein Obama announced he was running for office several newscasters actually said Osama for Obama.

Obama's name was foreign to the majority of Americans.
