I have not noticed any discussion here of WIP, the ETF composed of non-US inflation protected bonds.

I would assume that this would not only be a (modest) inflation hedge but at the same time a very good dollar-decline hedge. For simple preservation of capital, I would think it would be quite good. Of course, income and gains would be taxable, eroding the true inflation and currency protection. The bonds in the fund are all governments--from eighteen countries.

Might be a very good thing for an IRA.
