FDR took us through world war two I would like to remind you. He was a dem an do not think anyone thought he was soft or put the military at the bottom. Everyone knows we are short of troops and asking too much of ours, so why isn't bush asking for a draft, or taxes to pay for it? Our grandkids are paying for this war. That isn't fair to them. It is not true about the dems putting the military at the bottom. The right wing uses propagnda. They keep the people scared and accuse liberals of being weak. That is the spin the right uses to win elections. I just said both Mccain and bush were against giving the the GI bill to troops. Those are the facts. There should be no excused for that. And Rumsfeld took our kids to war without being properly equiped and there was no hurry. Are you aware McCain just said Rumsfeld was one of the worst secretary of defenses ever?
