I looked at it, spent about an hour examining the countries, pretty conservative: Sweden was number one as I recall, and I made a pretty sizable purchase before the market closed yesterday.

French and British paper make up 40% of the holdings:

There may be more money still to be made on SKF but I decided to sell what we had left and put it into WIP. Gold may do better than WIP, but I have an awful lot tied to gold now and WIP looks like a possible safe substitute for USD cash. The collapse of FNM, etc., may be very hard on the dollar.

Human nature is really weird, especially one's own. About ten days ago I was going around feeling sorry for myself because I was making so much money and couldn't tell anyone about it. Then early this week I lost one hell of a lot of money and I actually felt better. I guess I can say that now since I seem to be getting it back the last couple of days.

It really is pretty unusual (for me, anyway) to lose $25,000 in 25 minutes--more than triple my entire annual salary in the first full-time job I held.

Guess I'll see if I can catch Coxe, though I like to save him for the weekend when nothing much is going on.
