I too have been wary of taking a position in NOG.But I started to follow the company when they reported the oil seeps.I took that news as there is oil on the property as a forgone conclusion.

The question for me was,can they find it on only a few drill holes?. That question was answered when they discovered oil on the shaker on hole 1 & 2.

Now this does not mean the well #2 is economic, and we will not know that until Monday or Tuesday. But there is no question to is there oil on the property?

As for cash they have $5 million left in the bank and could drill another 7 more holes before they will need more money.I think they are going to drill more holes this fall even if #2 only had 3 brlspd production.

One thing is clear this company has the makings for a home run in $140 oil.The two formations they have discovered has taken some of the risk away along way from just oil seeps. The stock may jump up or down on every word from the company. But in the long run I think its a keeper.
