When you have a serious war you draft the people and go out and end the war. These wars have drug on for longer than the 2nd world war. The commanders have said for a long time they need more troops. So a serious commander would get those troops. Are you saying people are not patriotic and so cannot be trusted. Few complained in the second world war. A lot of the army are poor kids needing a job. Draftees would be as patriot a sanyone, just liek in the second world war. What if we had to fight China in a conventional war. You do not think we would need a draft and do it day one! Yes, becasue that is a serious war. So if this is as serious lets draft who we need and end it.
