That's why we shouldn't bail them out. It simply encourages them to speculate on some other high risk venture with the same disastrous results for the US economy. The con-artist speculators pocket their profit while American taxpayers pay through the nose. Government should let it play out and those who made risky bets will get burned and not play with fire again. >It was the speculators who brought it all down. The troubled areas are Florida, California, Las Vegas and some rust states.<
