Ted, > Brazil, another country heavily dependent on foreign oil, was moving forward with its program. Today, Brazil is energy independent and a net exporter of oil; the US is more than ever oil dependent. Brazil claims bragging rights to "renewable energy" mainly via ethanol and "biofuels." As a result, they're tearing up the rainforest and screwing over their own citizens and migrant workers so that they can boost their exports. I suppose if we tank our economy to the size of Brazil's, we too can become a "net exporter of energy." Tenchusatsu
