I am a Canadian Living in Play del Carmen Mexico and this year this Caribbean Beachtown was full in June usually the one dead month...its full of Europeans and Canadians ..this whole last year it was full up... the main reason for Europeans increase is that they don't have to stop over in Miami any more..but having lived here for 9 years the common discussion at multi national get to-gethers is that non US citizens don't want to go to the US anymore because of political issues and don't want to transit thru because of Customs and immigration hassles...many of our friends are US citizens and they are ashamed of your present leadership as well especially when they feel in their hearts they have to apologize..

the good news is that could change with one of your present contenders for president

doesn't leave much for them extra money to fly over to the united states for a vacation.

they're still pouring into NYC though...my daughter just got back from a business trip a few days ago, and she made a stop in barney's to do a little shopping....she said euros are shopping in NYC in droves

damn good thing too, i read that the major WS banks will be carrying forward tax losses in NY for several years.....paying zero state corp income tax... gotta make that huge shortfall up some way <g>
