you got to remember democrats in congress demanded those jobs at the airports all become civil service jobs. thousands of them.. you think a new president is going to eliminate those jobs?

i think its great if more eu and canadians can fly direct to mexico rather than go through our airports. we got enough problems trying to get through dallas ft worth, chicago etc without having international pass through when they can fly direct. i expect it may cost a bit more for you not to change plans but that gives us more available landings at these airports. your overnight stay in Florida was because you all didn't do enough business to warrant a flight the same day to mexico hence you had to wait in que for more passengers. we appreciate your cooperation.

i have no idea what your talking about canadians having a problems with united states. my family and 99% of my relatives are from Canada and i never hear a complaint. i wonder why they visit so often to a country they do like.. these snow birds fly south every winter to land in southern states esp. Florida. some trailer parks speak primiarly French as the majority are from the Montreal area.

i have family from Ireland and england that come over each winter.. they feel it is great with a low dollar. the english people have winter condos in florida they bought about ten years ago. Even with condos falling off a cliff they are still way ahead on their investment of ten years ago. They look forward coming every winter and spending time with their relatives from the states..

i guess it could be the community you are hanging out with. i do not doubt if i was a minority in Mexico and everyone was bashing me i would hide my head rather than get it taken off. its like being an oil man during allocations and high prices.. no one loves him and if prices were dirt cheap they wouldn't know he was around.

Hopefully that monumental, incompetent, apparatus will be subject to review by an administration that does not owe it's political life to trying to keep its populace in a state of constant fear.

One can hope - but I doubt any meaningful change is coming. As soon as some sensibility is suggested there is that group of fear mongers who will suggest the dems are soft on terrorism. You hear the same crap line every time they approach a camera.

It's a lot more user friendly dealing with Australian immigration than US immigration which is just a disaster area....You can submit a green card application in the US and not hear anything for a year for example. Here they e-mail you the next week with any extra material you need to submit plus a snailmail acknowledgement. No lawyers needed either -we are doing my wife's immgration ourselves (getting her H1B equivalent here was similarly easy). My US green card application took years even with a lawyer. I eventually gave up and we moved to Australia where I'm a citizen already.

Americans were quiet when the state started doing this with foreigners. Now they are doing with the locals.
This is the way civil liberties are removed slowly and steadily.

Gte ready for the policial state...
