Well... Mac OS X is a windows system running on BSD implementation of UNIX, which is actually faster than linux. Go Apple! It's not true that linux can't be hacked. No geeking either, Apple does the geek work for you, but sure it ain't free <G> U can download FreeBSD for free, though, and GOOGLE servers run on it. That system is still for the geeks, although recently it became a lot more user friendly. <G> The problem with microsoft is that it runs on rotten old IBM DOS core, slow and inefficient. en.wikipedia.org freebsd.org Now you wonder why AAPL flies sky HIGH... Mac is NOT BAD at all nowadays. I guess Steve Jobs knows stuff, but maybe it's just the i-phone. <G>
