But, let's address the NY Times article yesterday where you posted a single quote.

You failed to post the very final closing paragraph of the entire article:

"Speculation and manipulation are two different things," says Mr. O'Reilly of Chevron. "Most of where we are is because of fundamentals and concern about the future."

Most of the world has looked at the increasing demand and declining supply concern and has reacted as they should. They have finally awoken to reality. We have a problem here and it is a classic example of politics gone bad. For 30 years our two major parties have failed to implement an energy program because of politics, and we now are reacting too late with too little.

Fools support them and say they are wonderful and even better politicians are coming forward, not listening to what actually is being said and what will actually be accomplished.
