Baathists are the only ones pushing the left's "it was better under Saddam" line. Actually, there were very few Baathists under Saddam....instead I think you mean the Sunnis who are particularly negative and they make up 35% of the country. However, there are Shia who also are unhappy.....esp. the women who are being forced to revert back to a time prior to the late 19th century. Only the Kurds seem geniunely happy so long as no one tries to stop them from forming Kurdestan.
