I wonder how many crashes it takes for a non-admirals son to get moved to slower planes?


When he blew up two jets [in addition to the ones he crashed] on the US Forrestal, he was transferred to another ship before the body count was completed. I thought that was an unusual response. I wonder if there was even an investigation. Doesn't this sound more and more like the history of GW Bush?

He was slow tracked early on. His first few crashes were in prop planes. Even after he got to fly jets, they were the ones being phased out.

Which, I suppose, makes sense. Saves the costs of decommissioning...
