why tax up to 250k but not beyond. That makes no sense. Then you are really exempting only the very rich. Flat tax on all at lower rate and everyone pays and because i am a socialist at heart, how about exempting first 25k if 50k was too much for your rt wing blood. (g)

Cause you know, the key to Social Security's longevity is the myth that whatever people pay into the system will be waiting for them when they retire.

To even say that Social Security is running a "surplus" betrays that myth, since the only way to achieve such a "surplus" would be to compare the benefits of current retirees with the FICA taxes from future retirees.
