The US Congress is derelict in it's duty in many ways. However many Americans prefer the legislative stalemate--they do less harm that way.

Look at Nancy Pelosi, she promised the Dem controlled congress would eliminate earmarks...did they?...No, they refused to do so. Her & Reid adamantly insisted the US military could never defeat the terrorists in Iraq...were they correct? No, they got it wrong again. Don't you ever get tired of their defeatist attitude and abysmal lack of vision?

Great, Lee Iacoca is just as pissed as we are, it's about time. I'm sure that you read that and took something different away from it than I did. This isn't any kind of partisan screw up.....

This has alot to do with there being an absence of statesmen in our Gov't. Our congress and senate are filled with nothing but politicians who's primary goal is to obtain reelection. Passing effective legislation or blocking bad legislation is purely secondary.......
