I don't have confidance that government can do what you think it can. Your idea is that our Government should not do anything other than exist. Providing for defense, for infrastructure that private industry can't produce, establishing and maintaining laws and rules for society and the economy to operate under. Those are legitimate uses for government imo. I think the countries that have tried collectivist central economic planning have shown the government doesn't do that well.
