The prime minister of Iraq just told the US they want a timetable for the United States withdraw from Iraq. They want all foreign forces out of their country.

The white house has not commented.

Our deal with them ends this year.

The bush administration has been saying a timetable would be a disaster? Didn't the Iraqi's jsut set a time table?

So how do we win when we are being forced to leave knowing the shia will take over and persecute the sunnie and maybe the kurds (if we are forced out of Iraq how do we protect the kurds)? The Kurds are the most stable group in all of the middle east and our best friends.

Do we tell Iraq we are going to stay in the north of Iraq with the kurds even though the Iraqis' will say no? The reason the Iraqi's will tell us we cannot be there is becasue they intend to try and take the oil away from the kurds. Lots of oil up there.

A Shia clearic will then rule Iraq. No democracy for Iraq and Iraq's closest allie will be IRAN!!

Iraq and Iran will work together against the sunnie. Sunnie who worked with the US against any Shia will be hunted down. Any Shia who had family members tortured or insulted by sunnie duringg sadams rule(ear cut off, etc)will be hunted down by shia militia's. Old world Muslims are real big on retribution.

The area will devolve into a huge civil war as sunnie flee for their lives and the Kurds try to cut off their part of Iraq from the shia.

All sunnie nations in the middleast are worried about Iran and Iraq and Syria forming a trioka; and the Saudi's (sunnie) are real nervous about Iran and Iraq.

Saudi's arming sunnie right now.

So what did our involvement in this war get us exactly?
