That is because you don't hang around the wingnuts and things like the Conservapedia. Like with Brumar, they obsess over defining "evolution" and "species" in their own, idiosyncratic ways and then flail against them.

When you point out that "biological evolution", which is what most humans think of when you talk about "evolution", doesn't say anything about origins, things start to get weird pretty quickly. It is sort of like what I imagine a bad trip on acid is like. Where meanings change, flow and, dare I say, evolve on a continuous basis.

Carter's alternative energy plan WAS conservation, he said it was "the cornerstone" of his energy policy which you and others support as alternative energy programs.

Evolution has replaced creationism in schools. I'm still waiting on the "enlightened" to explain how evolution is right and creationism is wrong in the origin of life or the universe.
