Elmat,Brazilians seem to live in the extremes of gloom or manic excitment about their natural resources.I try to even them out at both ends of the spectrum.Resources alone will likely never make Brazilians rich.Resource prices are falling and when they start up again, a lot of the capacity bottle necks will be gone, limiting the rate of rise (this will somewhat offset the demand from China and India)A study once estimated that East Germany would take 50 years to fully catch up to and integrate with West Germany.Brazil has a lot of work ahead and the best thing for them is to get this bubble over with and make some hard changes. That being said, their only path is up.The question is how fast?
