How do we know any of the writings about Alexander, Julius Caesaer, Aristotle were contemporary?

BTW how about listing some contemporary written records of any of these three?

I think he probably existed. However, I am dubious about the miracles. I mean, walking on water, raising people from the dead, feeding the multitudes, would have attracted some attention in the Roman Empire. They documented less spectacular events in the outer provinces.
