I think the reason for that is more older poeple have pets and Obama appeals to younger voters. And liberals-lol.

"More pet owners prefer McCain." Not this one..

PS..the Obama family(until 07 when book royalites poured in) couldn't afford to have caretakers for their pets like the McCains do, still paying off college loans..they chose to be responsible and get a dog when the girls were old enough to not torture the poor thing..
