"People who make less than the median income in America are hardly taxed. Doesn't make any sense to, either. But they are often the most vocal proponents of raising taxes."

and they are driven there by the class warriors whose real mission is to end capitalism. People arent built for that yet although in star trek generations folks didnt have money and it was from each to each but that existed in a false world of abundance not our world of scarcity. Socialism can work in abundance where no one starves and everyone eats lobster. Generations took place in the 26th century i think.

People who make less than the median income in America are hardly taxed.

They probably pay a higher percentage of their income in <total> taxes than the "rich". Federal income tax is not the only tax.

Everyone who thinks tax breaks were only for the wealthy, for instance.

Everyone who thinks only those richer than themselves should have their taxes increased.

Everyone who buys the liberal myth that class mobility for the most part doesn't exist.

I seldom run into someone as worried about his money as you...isn't there some scripture that shames you folks for this behaviour?

OK. Does anyone here think that?

It exists, but it's the exception rather than the rule.

I want to see us get our tax rates right... we need to provide enough revenue to do the things we need to do as a society.
