Michael, I've always been one for counting the cost. Something the Bush administration has never done and is being rightly criticized for it, to put it mildly.

The only problem is that those who will gladly count the cost for Bush's adventures are pushing alternatives without counting their cost. Things like universal health care and raising the FICA cap have serious unintended consequences, but hey, we KNOW Bush is bad, so ANYTHING has got to be better, right?

These will be the same people who complained when the federal budget hit $3 trillion, but won't even flinch once a liberal increases it to $4 trillion.

I can live with honest liberals like al, and jf and obama who will determine case by case whether their bleeding hearts are right or wrong on each issue, one by one.

Name one issue Al isn't at the Far Left of the spectrum on.
