Hey stinkwad, I've been in the Alaskan wilderness. It's God's country, the greatest place on earth (except for the mosquitos). It's one of the last places the Bald Eagle flies. And the big oil companies have ravaged half of Alaska already without doing us any good, so it's time to start protecting some of it. ANWR is one of those glorious wild places which would be a terrible sin to violate. And you know damn well Big Oil is lying through its teeth when they claim they'll leave a "small footprint". They would ruin the place permanently. It's time you Republicans quit supporting attacks on our wilderness and pollution of our air, water and lands. Just stop it. It's gone way too far. There's nothing macho about it, it's just plain evil. And ANWR won't solve our energy crisis at all, do don't even try to claim that. Big Oil has plenty of huge drilling rights contracts they won't even use because they want to sit on them until oil is $200. They don't want to bring down prices, they want to jack them up even more. And the more we give them the more they will screw us. Unless Obama is in power, then there will finally be someone strong enough to stand up to the crooked bastards.
