Big oil is the #1 enemy of the USA right now, in several ways, and anyone with a brain can see it. Big Oil includes: OPEC, Iran, Chavez, Arabs, Iraq, Bush, Cheney, Exxon, Chevron, Total, BP, Shell, Conoco, Halliburton, Russia, Nigeria, etc. From out of the above comes terrorism, global warming, pollution, and great harm to natural life on earth in general. The good news is we don't need oil (or coal). We just need to get rid of the oil lobby and its stranglehold on the White House and Congress. Windfall profits taxes are also definitely needed. At least 100 billion worth. Did everyone see the big oil CEOS in front of congress a few years ago. They arrogantly refused to answer questions and poo-poo'ed our government representatives. Knowing full well Bush-Cheney (and now McCain) would always protect them from any competition, honesty, cleanliness or progress toward clean fuels.
