I wouldn't touch gold and silver shares when I could buy the metals itself and reduce my risk to zero compared to owning shares. I don't want the so called leverage as this is never proven to be profitable if one owns many of the shares. When gold goes up then SOME of the gold shares go up and others don't and some go down. If gold goes up you have your investment going up. If gold goes down the stocks often lose 15 to 50% depending. If gold drops 50% most gold stocks will go to absolute zero. Therefore physical gold and silver is always the best and safest investment, notwithstanding a company like ARU making the discovery of a lifetime only to be shorted by damn fools in this industry brokerages, investment houses etc)) that don't care about whether I make a dime.
