i'm thinking there is a demographic
shift occurring and the patrons are
not spending as much time on activities
such as drinking and socializing ...
perhaps because they are gearing up for
their septuagenarian years <g>

i know that every so often a disappearance
is in order. a vanishing; a checking out;
an indeterminate period of unavailability,
