It sounds like a hell of a promising product to me. There's at least a small barrier to entry for competitors because, off-the-shelf components notwithstanding, making something like that reliable, cheap and cool-running requires competencies Sun has focused on for a long time.

If it doesn't generate substantial revenue and profit, it will be interesting to see why not.
