Perhaps they fought like cats and dogs over a period of *months* over the exact wording of this clause (the Senate refusing to accept the House's version, which was written clearly as a right for individuals...) BECAUSE WORDS MEAN NOTHING, eh?

The House and the Senate held the entire constitution up for months because... what? They 'just felt like it'?

NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL BETWEEN THE TWO FORMULATIONS, RIGHT?

They just fought because they were 'ornery, eh? The two different proposed amendments that they argued over day-after-day were INTERCHANGABLE... is THAT what you are claiming? 'NO difference'? 'Two peas in a pod'?
