You are disingenuous. When Congress threatens to remove the $13 billion in offshore drilling tax credits the oil companies get, they and the Republicans scream loudly that their business is going to suffer and that Congress is actively hostile to it. Never mind that no economist in the world would agree that oil companies need any incremental incentives at all to drill offshore, given the are sitting on the highest profits they've every had in the history of the US.

When the solar companies rightly claim that businesses are witholding investment and loans to allow them to build their solar farms pending the alternative energy legislation getting passed to renew their $2 billion in tax credits, you say that it is NOT hurting their business. Never mind that solar businesses are just starting to take off and they represent one of the bright spots in an otherwise shitty economy and also represent a future where Americans aren't beholden to their worst enemies for energy.

What hypocrites you and the oil companies are. Worse. What traitors to this country you are, that you see all the damage oil prices are doing to our economy and all the power and wealth we are transferring to the Middle East through our oil purchases, which makes us less secure, and yet, you still will do everything in your power to ensure that we are forever addicted to oil. Your ilk disgust me.
