Sure after years of waiting and many billions of investment, the incremental cost of the electric car will probably be closer, but it will still almost certainly still be higher, and those billions are also a real cost to consider.

*What is the 'cost' of 50% of our trade deficit?
*What is the 'cost' of oil resource wars?
*What is the 'cost' of millions of cars consuming $4 gasoline?
*What is the 'cost' of gasoline pollution (GW or not) in health problems/health care?
*What is the 'cost' of financially strengthening enemy countries?
*What is the 'cost' or a recession?
*What is the 'cost' of the risk that our country could be economically shut down on the whim of our enemies?

Again, you show your ignorance of economics. I'm not going to explain to you what economies of scale means, because clearly there are areas of knowledge that you are too dense to appreciate.

What you don't realize is that right now our government is giving subsidies in the form of tax credits for small businesses to purchase large SUV vehicles. So don't tell me we shouldn't give subsidies to electric vehicle purchasers, when we our government is actively supporting sales of the behemoth cars that GM sells, even when the consumers no longer want them.

Again you are being very hypocritical at the worst or just ignorant at the least.
