Re: Zions Bank. For those that may not know, has interesting and intimate ties to the LDS (Mormon) church, and was started by Brigham Young. Definitely a well regarded bank in the intermountain west, and in these parts, held in high esteem and considered to be "above the fray". Anecdotal evidence of this - I had lunch yesterday with a friend who is a VERY successful business owner and a multi, multi millionaire. I brought up Zions and told him he ought to be wary and "careful", considering recent developments and the stock price action. His thoughts on the matter "Zions Bank possibly go bankrupt?? Impossible!! Not Zions!"

Who knows, Zions might be a good investment at some point, for the Money-making machine that is the LDS Church might just decide to step in with some cash and play savior.........then again, there are lots of Zions "Kool-aid drinkers" that believe it is above reproach, so therefore it may have much further to fall.
