No.. not really.. but putting Moody's out of business, or at least passing the buck into their deserving hands, could send an important message as to who's culpable for convincing investors that it was alright to buy these toxic CDOs and MBS's that mixed sub-prime loans with AAA debt.

Because again, it's their job to rate investment risk of financial instruments based upon sound analysis, not some conflict of interest.

Probably not worth mentioning Fitch, since they are private.

Anyway, I just find is rather interesting to see that this is finally starting to generate some news. And I think it's going to generate some lawsuits as well.
