Z, > Ever see any stats on class mobility?

I do. For the most part, class mobility is alive and well here in America.

> Hell, there's probably no way they'll ever make six figures. And neither will their kids, or their kids' kids..

That's exactly the kind of myth that I vehemently disagree with.

It's also the kind of myth that sells socialism and communism. "You will never earn six figures, nor will your kids, nor will your kids kids, so why even try? Instead, make those billionaires pay their 'fair share.'"

Voila, you've raised three generations of American citizens who will forever depend on government handouts.

"Besides, I know billionaires personally... no matter what they do, they're never going to be poor. And they're always going to have the influence to make themselves richer. They walk into a room and people fall at their feet, just because their grandfathers made money a century ago. Their kids are rich, their grandkids will be rich, their great grandkids will be rich.

And I know plenty of people who work 60-80 hours a week and are never going to be able to do much more than feed themselves and their families, and there's NO way they'll ever be like those billionaires. Hell, there's probably no way they'll ever make six figures. And neither will their kids, or their kids' kids..
"

Which is why I favor a 100% "death tax".
