Blah blah blah.

Hmmm, that's your response to a very well written and cogent article. Figures..

Whenever the oil industry doesn't want us to get to oil independence

Big Bad Oil, blah blah blah. Big Bad Rich people, blah blah blah. Big Bad Bush, blah blah blah. Class warfare, blah blah blah... Tiresome platitudes..

My main concern is the crippling of our economy

It's most certainly not, or you wouldn't spout the kind of nonsense that you do..

because of our oil addiction

There's that stupid (and erroneous) premise again. We're not "addicted to oil" any more than your body is "addicted" to the blood that keeps you alive.

You are unpatriotic traitor to this country

Mr Spock was true to logic, but it seems that you, mindmelt, have chosen an inappropriate handle, as you seem wont to revert to whacked out emotional moonbattery and silly name calling when confronted with unpleasant (to your POV) truths...

BTW, Brumar's article was entirely correct in asserting that the public is going to backlash, big time, against the red/green eco freaks and their political supporters who are trying to cripple western civilization.

When your precious "middle class" can't afford to fuel their vehicles and feed their families, thanks to the policies of energy starvation, then you're going to witness real anger and it will be directed at the moonbats who caused it to occur...

Environmentalists influence over our energy policies isn't a myth invented by the oil industry. And you have no reason to say the oil industry "doesn't want us to get to oil independence". That's just a bigoted and ignorant attempt to demonize an industry.

You are unpatriotic traitor to this country in your desire to forever chain this country to oil.

In between complaining - mostly falsely - about their own patriotism being attacked, it seems liberals love to attack others and condemn people who don't accept liberal policies and talking points as traitors. What you really want is a monopoly on power and public opinion for yourself and people who share your opinions and you try to use name-calling to stifle the expression of opposing opinion. You really ought to be ashamed of this.
