When I saw that letter in the newspaper, I couldn't believe my eyes. WTF? You expect that kind of nonsense from politicians, but these guys are CEOs! But this is not the only bonehead decision coming from this industry. The idea of charging for the first bag of luggage is really going to speed up the loading process! IF they're going to go that route, they should charge for bags brought ONTO the plane, not the checked luggage! Now we'll have EVERYbody trying to jam 2 carry-ons into the overheads And the idea to experiment with several lines to go thru security based on "Experienced" travelers and "Inexperienced" travelers (who don't know they should take their shoes off) is really going to work too. Wonder how many people will line up to go thru the "Inexperienced travelers" line?
