Then why did they turn the Tacoma pick up truck from a small fuel efficient hauler to a slightly porky fuel guzzling high altitude thing with insufficient hauling capacity? Should have kept it small, just switched that a few years ago.

The Japanese built their plants with the ability to produce many models as the market demands. Detroit shuts plants down.
