This is pretty interesting...but he may just be a religious nutball author, trying to sell his book...

Table 1: Alternative Energy Technologies

Some technologies have not yet been validated)

Gold High hopes. In modified physical format gold can store exceptionally large electrical charges relative to its mass; and it is also biologically stimulative. The former benefit will allow storage coupling with solar and wind power generation technologies. The latter benefit will have significant implications for agriculture. An overview explanation is outlined in my factional novel, Beyond Neanderthal, which may be ordered at www.beyondneanderthal.com

Science is now beginning to discover that gold resonates at subatomic level on the same wavelength as DNA; and its ability (in modified form) to store electrical charges has already been proven. The technology is still embryonic but if the best available minds are applied to the challenge, this amazingly versatile element on the periodic table might possibly be incorporated into technological applications within 5-7 years.

Further, given that science is now starting to understand the relationship between gold and DNA (just type the words “gold and DNA” into Google to verify this) the evidence is beginning to emerge that there really is no conflict between religion and science. Religion tells “what” and science tells “how”.

Gold played a high profile role in the Old Testament because the Ancients understood its value. Gold did not derive its value from its colour or its sheen or the fact that it did not tarnish. These are facile reasons. One could argue the same about a polished coloured rock. The DNA linkage is a far more compelling reason as to why it became so sought after in the first place. References to gold’s exceptional physical properties are peppered throughout the Testaments. It’s just that science hadn’t caught up yet to understand.

Bill O'Reilly is telling his viewers that an attack on Iran will bring $200 oil and the collapse of our economy. For one thing, an attack on Iran will likely bring even higher oil prices than $200/barrel. For another thing, if oil peaked at $200 from an Iran attack we could absorb it easily. We have already absorbed a 700% increase in oil prices this decade. To get to $200, is only another 45% to 50% increase.

It just goes to show that the rhetoric in 2001 about Osama Bin Laden killing our economy by choking off oil supplies and making the price skyrocket to $144 was just rhetoric. Oil went to $145 last week, and the economy is still chugging along, albeit slower than before for a variety of reasons. One simple solution to the problem of rising oil prices is to double our efficiency in how we use oil. Then $144 oil is like $72 oil as far as the economy is concerned. Since we have been so wasteful in our energy usage up to now, we still have a lot of room for efficiency gains, or better yet let's start plugging in our cars and using home grown electricity (preferably renewable) instead of oil.

I just noticed that oil is back to $145 territory this morning. Anyone who wants to be informed, please look up "Peak Oil" and read up on it.
