Effects of having over 2/3 of the economy consumer driven.

Such economies don't want anything to be touched. Else the money going to consumers' purse ends up as airports runways. Tunnels. High-speed trains. Infrastruture improvement. Such cnsumer driven societies are EXTREMELY Green! Green means don't touch anything. It is good for them.

They are anti-migrant too. We don;t have other people coming here to consume the stuff we are goring in.

Macroeconomics in such societies are very much for strong currencies. Their Central Banks love a cheaper currency to send in cheap goods for them to buy.

The >1/3 of their economies that aren't consumer driven, is protected with nail and claw via lobbies, tariifs and non-tariff barriers.
