My 401K is down about 10% - I have about 40% in the equivalent of a money fund waiting on prices going lower. My house is in Houston and houses are holding up pretty well now - appreciated? I don't know but I don't think its gone down. The house across the street from us just sold for about what I'd expect it to. Energy costs up but manageable. Kids need a mtge - not right now, probably a few years in the future for that. A person doesn't have to go somewhere costing $60K a yr.

Obama doesn't have a clue, he's gonna raise your taxes, how will that help you ? He's gonna reverse the marriage tax, so you get the penalty again for being married.
