Perhaps, although I think the average bear corrects around 25-30% on the entire index... and we all pays our money and takes our chances.

The probabilities look like more downside is ahead from here, especially on an inflation adjusted basis... and I'll turn on a dime and give change if the overall market does reverse.

That starts to sound like a government statistic...
just leave out the part that doesn't agree and things look much more like what is "normal." <grin>

I doubt this will be a "normal" bear.
