Good thoughts. as usual...

It just makes the mind go numb when you consider how folks can chase strength, when all around is falling.

fwiw I've been trying (with good success) to avoid these kinds of thoughts, and trade as objectively as possible "markets of opportunity" IMO there will always be hot money in the mkt chasing strength...it's what markets are all about, and what traders do, so we should be thankful and embrace to opportunity to capitalize...
e.g. The Alternative energy sector has been on a tear, outperforming the broader mkt by hundreds of percents over the course of the last 6-9 mos. imo the KEY to success, and making money, is identifying the new leadership, and leading sectors early. This has to be intuitive to a certain extent...but also HAS to be backed up by solid basing charts and overdone washouts and capitulations in sectors and stocks that have been identified as possible leaders going fwd.

As we know all to well, Sometimes mkt conditions will induce panics in sectors, and over reactions in either direction that can create opportunity. Real and/or imagined, I think this is what is happening in the financial sector...soooo... now more than ever drilling down on those charts could be very rewarding...or not;~)

Congrats on constructing, and maintaining in good fashion, pretty much the only redeeming feature of this entire website...IMO <ggg>

It's been a pleasure to discover this particular board over the last few weeks...I promise to do my best to stay out of way, you folks are doing nice work and i don't want to mess it up. If I have any other charts that I think might be unique or offer a different perspective that could be of value...I'll try to post
